Initially, the school's methodology was based solely upon the Callan Method, a very popular and widely used method of foreign language teaching, but realizing the growing need to adjust its methodology to the requirements of modern schooling, Top English School has developed and introduced a modified form of teaching, which our customers have found most satisfactory. As distinct from the basic Callan Method class procedures, the modified method allows and actively encourages creative thinking in language use and focuses primarily on the comprehensive study of all language aspects. In addition, Top English School organizes separate grammar classes that summarize all the complexities of the language.

In the case of classes organized for a given group of students, we allow for adjustments to the standard teaching program to suit the individual customer's needs. For this reason, when organizing classes for middle or upper management within the companies with which we cooperate, we determine the course mode individually for each group of students even if we treat the acquisition of language basics as a starting point. Students stay in contact with our school for the duration of their course and so exercise influence over both the pace of the teaching/learning process and range of the material taught.

Prior to any binding decisions between either party, our prospective customers are offered a set of the so-called trial classes to acquaint themselves with the overall procedures of the method. The classes in question are treated as fully payable only if the contracting party wishes to continue the course. The actual course is preceded by a free-of-charge placement test upon which the pace and content of the course are determined. At the customer's request, the school accepts necessary alterations to the course schedule, i.e. temporary suspension or postponements.
